Meet Azmah M. Zain,  – Our experienced occupational therapist

Azmah is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist with over two decades of experience working with individuals with special needs. She specialises in supporting babies, children, teenagers, and adults through tailored assessments, individualised intervention plans, and hands-on coaching for caregivers. 

Throughout her career, Azmah has worked in special schools, private clinics, and government hospitals, focusing on early intervention, developmental support, and functional independence. She is passionate about helping individuals at every stage of life—whether it’s an infant developing essential motor skills, a school-aged child navigating learning challenges, or adult building life skills for greater independence. 

 

Believing that occupational therapy is key to improving a person’s ability to participate in daily activities, Azmah collaborates closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to set holistic and functional therapy goals. Her ultimate aim is to empower individuals to lead more independent and fulfilling lives at home, in school, at work, and within their communities.

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) 

  • Diploma in Occupational Therapy (Nanyang Polytechnic) 

  • Sensory Integration & Praxis Test (SIPT) 

  • Certified Neuro Developmental Treatment (NDT) / Bobath Certification – Management & Treatment of Children with Cerebral Palsy & Other Neuromotor Disorders 

  • NDT Advanced Baby Course Certified 

  • Interactive Metronome Certified (IMC)

With her extensive experience and deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for children and adults with special needs, Azmah plays a vital role in ensuring each individual receives the best possible support to reach their full potential.

Meet Jamie Rachal – Special needs behaviour & education specialist

Jamie Rachal brings over 18 years of hands-on experience supporting children with special needs and their families through behaviour and educational therapy. With a strong foundation in family-centred practice, Jamie works closely with families to strengthen communication, support positive behaviour, and promote meaningful progress in everyday life.

Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Family Studies, along with a Higher Certificate in Autism and an Advanced Certificate in PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System). Her work focuses on developing practical, evidence-informed strategies that can be realistically implemented both at home and in school settings.

 

Through collaboration with families, domestic helpers, and professional teams, Jamie supports children in building functional communication and behavioural skills while empowering families with tools that are sustainable and aligned with their daily routines. Her approach is grounded in empathy, consistency, and partnership—recognising that long-term progress is best achieved when families feel supported and confident.
